So which RAM slots should you use, and why does it make any difference where the memory modules go? ... Does It Matter Which RAM Slots You Use?

I figure I should use the PCie 3.0 x 8, but would it slow down my GPU in the PCie 3.0 x16 slot? ... If so, I would be inclined to use the PCie 2.0 x 4 slot, even if it meant slower SDD speeds.

Does it mean I should use signal/slots whenever possible (because they are asynchronous? ... It doesn’t mean that every normal method call should be replaced by signal/slots, that would just result in worse readability and additional overhead.

Task manager displayed that I have used 2 out of 4 RAM slots. (The 2 RAM slots are what I currently use) So where are the other RAM slots.
